Tonya Webb

Tonya Webb is one of the owners of the Old Hospital on College Hill which is located in Williamson, West Virginia. She was actually born in this nearly 100 year old hospital in 1973. She lost two grandparents that she never got the opportunity to meet in this hospital so she feels she has both a spiritual and emotional connection to this amazing place.

Her business partner (Sabrina Hatfield) & Tonya recently purchased The Old Hospital on College Hill as well as the Nurses College in hopes to save and share the history and paranormal events that have occurred in these places. From unusual deaths, suicides, or nurses that still haunt the hospital floors, these walls have so many stories to tell and people are always asking are abandoned hospital really haunted? Tonya (along with her Hospital) was recently featured on The Travel Channel’s hit show, Destination Fear and has attracted celebrities such as Tony Moran (the original Michael Myers) who recently visited the hospital to do a meet and greet with horror fans. Allen Marston

Allen Marston: Paranormal investigator, researcher, and lecturer; True crime lecturer; Actor; Administrator of the National Paranormal Society.

Allen is Professional Firefighter and Hazardous Materials Specialist in the state of Virginia. He has been avidly researching the paranormal for 20 years and professionally investigating for roughly eleven of those years. He became a Representative for the National Paranormal Society in 2014. He quickly started rising in the ranks in the organization, step by step and gaining respect as he went. In 2016 he became a Lead Senior Director of the organization. During his time there he wrote many articles that are still utilized on their website, as well as collaborated on articles that were focused in NPS Focus Magazine. He is now the administrator for the organization. You can find Allen guest spotting on multiple podcasts, but is reoccurring guest on The Paranormal Sideshow with John and Stacey Edwards. He has had the opportunity to speak at multiple events and loves to meet people and feels that everyone has a part to play in the field. His unique style of presentation makes his seminars unforgettable. He treats everyone with the utmost respect and has been appropriately nicknamed the Paranormal Gentleman.

Ted Raimi

Actor Ted Raimi has appeared in quite a few of his brother Sam Raimi’s films, but has also managed to carve a niche for himself via such action/adventure television series as “SeaQuest 2032,” “Xena: Warrior Princess,” and “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” Raimi got his acting start during the early 1980s, with roles in such cult classic horror films as “The Evil Dead” and “Evil Dead II” (both directed by his brother). Further roles in film and TV came Raimi’s way (the horror favorite “Shocker,” the memorably silly 1980s sitcom “Alf,” etc.), before he began working on more films directed by his brother during the 1990s. However, it was also during that decade that Raimi scored two of his best known roles, as Lt. j.g. Timothy O’Neill on “SeaQuest 2032” and Joxer on both “Xena: Warrior Princess” and “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” When his brother got the nod to direct the “Spider-Man” franchise, Ted secured the recurring role of Hoffman in the blockbusters “Spider-Man” (2002), “Spider-Man 2” (2004), and “Spider-Man 3” (2007).

Bruce Campbell

You asked. We delivered. Scarefest Resurrection is proud to welcome back actor, author and producer Bruce Campbell!

In 1979 with his Detroit friends, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell raised $350,000 for a low-budget film, The Evil Dead (1981), in which he starred and co-executive produced. Completed piecemeal over four years, the film first gained notoriety in England where it became the best-selling video of 1983, beating out The Shining (1980). After its appearance at Cannes, where Stephen King dubbed it “the most ferociously original horror film of the year”, New Line Cinema stepped forward to release “Evil Dead” in the U.S.

After co-producing Crimewave (1985), a cross-genre comedy written by Sam Raimi, Ethan and Joel Coen, Campbell moved to Los Angeles and quickly gained a foothold producing or starring in genre films such as the Maniac Cop (1988) series, Lunatics: A Love Story (1991), Moontrap (1989), and Mindwarp (1991), a post-apocalyptic “Jeremiah Johnson”, during which he met his wife-to-be, filmmaker, Ida Gearon.

Campbell then rejoined his Detroit colleagues to star and co-produce the second and third films in the Evil Dead trilogy (Evil Dead II (1987) & Army of Darkness (1992)), completing 12 years of work on the cult favorite.

This rough-and-tumble background was a plus as Campbell made his foray into television, first starring in the highly touted Fox series The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993), then as a recurring guest-star on the hit show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993).

With these under his belt, Campbell easily made the transition to director, helming numerous episodes and recurring as the King of Thieves in the #1 syndicated Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995), and its follow-up phenomenon, Xena: Warrior Princess (1995).

Bruce has since expanded his range on television, appearing in anything from Disney’s update of The Wonderful World of Disney: The Love Bug (1997), to decidedly dramatic turns on the acclaimed series Homicide: Life on the Street (1993) and The X-Files (1993). At the invitation of ABC, Campbell ventured into the world of sitcoms with a recurring role on ABC’s Emmy-nominated Ellen (1994), participating in one of the three touted “out” episodes.

But Campbell didn’t abandon his film roots. During that time, he had featured roles in the blockbuster Congo (1995), John Carpenter’s Escape from L.A. (1996), and the award-winning independent crime drama, Running Time (1997). He followed these up with roles in Paramount’s romantic comedy, Serving Sara (2002), Jim Carrey’s The Majestic (2001), and all three of Sam Raimi’s blockbuster Spider-Man movies.

After a return to episodic television in the swashbuckling series, Jack of All Trades (2000), Campbell took the title role in MGM’s cult sleeper Bubba Ho-Tep (2002). His directorial debut, Man with the Screaming Brain (2005) premiered on the Sci Fi Channel, and Dark Horse Comics published the comic adaptation.

Campbell then directed and starred as himself in My Name Is Bruce (2007), a spoof of his B-movie career, then re-teamed with Disney for their fun-filled hit, Sky High (2005).

Campbell has since made the leap into other forms of entertainment, and is enjoying his role as an author with back-to-back New York Times bestsellers: a memoir entitled “If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor”, and his first novel, “Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way”.

In the multi-media industry, Bruce has enjoyed voicing characters for Disney’s animated TV series Disney’s the Legend of Tarzan (2001) and the Warner Brothers feature The Ant Bully (2006). He also portrayed the character of “Mayor Shelbourne” in the animated hit film, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009). Recently, Campbell voiced the role of “Rod Torque Redline” in Cars 2 (2011), the sequel to the smash Disney animated feature and for the immensely popular game, “Call of Duty”.

In 2013, Bruce co-produced the hit remake of Evil Dead (2013), joined his filmmaking pal Sam Raimi on Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and completed an impressive seven-year run on the spy show, Burn Notice (2007) (2007-2013), USA’s #1 show on cable.

More than two decades after the release of Army of Darkness (1992), Bruce returned to his most iconic role for Ash vs Evil Dead (2015), a highly-anticipated series premiering on the Starz network on Halloween 2015.

DJ Tre gained a following in the horror scene from his costume impersonation of Freddy Krueger, Leslie Vernon, Jason Voorhees just to name a few. Remaining one step ahead of the trends DJ TRE’s unique sound has earned him the name of ‘Mr. Exclusive’. With his clever ability to mix new sounds with old favorites, he unites himself with the audience, no matter how large or small.

Leslie Easterbrook

The Scarefest is excited to welcome Leslie to Lexington in October.

She played Sgt./Lt./Capt. Debbie Callahan in the Police Academy films and Rhonda on the television series Laverne & Shirley but we horror fans know her for her part in The Devils Rejects (and Police Academy – she’s a legend after all!)

William Forsythe

Dynamically entertaining actor with piercing eyes, William Forsythe has a superb talent for playing some truly unlikable and downright nasty characters that dominate the films in which he appears! If you’re cast as the hero against Forsythe’s villain, then you have your work cut out for you, as Forsythe’s raw energy and menace on screen is second to none.

Forsythe is known for his amazing talent of playing the most unlikable ,nasty characters that always dominate each film he appears in. He has portrayed everyone from comic book characters to infamous mobsters. Known around the horror scene for his performances in fan favorites, The Devil’s Reject’s and Halloween.

Jimothy Beckholt

He may not be a household name – yet – but Jimothy Beckholt has been part of the Scarefest Family for years and is known for his outrageous Ace Ventura cosplay antics on the convention floor.

Meanwhile, in the film industry, Jim is known for his indie projects such as Still the King, Office Uprising and Corky & Bob Get A Job, Me, Faces and Will Work 4 Food.

His most recent film is alongside Tony Todd in Candy Corn.
