DJ Tre

Our VIP Party is going to be a little different this year. We have moved it to Saturday Night at the Corner Bar at LexLive and folded our Costume Judging Finals into it. But don’t worry if you don’t have a VIP Level Scarefest Pass – The Game Day Sports Bar is right next door… in the same building… across the shared lobby.

Except for the Party itself, all of our other events (for example our Horror Drag Show) will have a la carte tickets available either online or at the venue and most are included with ANY Scarefest Pass. And if you think you won’t be able to hear DJ Tre from across the lobby… first time with a DJ is it?

The Costume Contest Finals? It’s a big place… but it’s not that big. The lobby going into The Corner Bar is like right there.

This will allow us to have a dedicated VIP area (21 and over) in a building that is open to the entire family with tons of stuff for everyone to do.

Included with Admission: Join us at 11:30 at LexLive with actor Mark Torgl as he hosts a Feature Presentation of his classic movie, The Toxic Avenger at Midnight Friday in the LFX Theater at LexLive on the 2nd floor, Theater 6.

Included with Admission: Join us after the expo at LexLive with members (TBA) of the cast of Weird Science for a special showing of this classic film. Saturday 9 at LexLive with cast introduction at 8:30.

Free Public Event: Bowling and ax throwing not your thing? Well get your song on. We are taking over the Corner Bar at LexLive and doing Scaryoke. Expect some celebrities to drop in (because they LOVE Scaryoke. Basically… it’s karaoke for horror fans!

Scaryoke will start at 9PM on Friday and run until 11PM.

To make everything fit the calendar this year, we had to double up on Saturday night. We wanted to move our VIP Party and activities to Saturday, BUT Saturday night is traditionally our costume ball and judging and besides… that is the day everyone dresses up.

We decided to combine the two!

Our costume contest pre-judging will be held at 4PM Saturday on our Entertainment Stage on the expo floor (registration begins at 3:30). The the finalists will all be invited to our VIP Party for our Finalist Round on the VIP Party Stage at LexLive. 

VIP level pass holders and Media Pass holders converge on the black carpet at 3PM Friday at the expo entrance for massive photo opportunities of our celebrities, speakers, and other dignitaries.

All First Responders (law enforcement, firefighters, medics, and military – active and retired) get free admission to the expo floor during convention hours Friday. Just show up with your official I.D. No purchase nor pre-ticketing necessary.

Included with Admission:  Friday 2PM through 8PM, Saturday and Sunday during regular convention hours. The Scarefest Film Festival takes a new format this year at LexLive! First: it actually starts before* the convention doors open so that those of you who arrive early will have a great way to kick off the weekend. Just show up at LexLive with ANY Scarefest pass (or buy one there in our ticket kiosk) and watch all of the horror and paranormal as you wish in the comfort of a real theater. Schedule coming Soon.

Our Launch Party features Horror Trivia! Show up a little early to sign up for a spot on a team (4 members per team) or bring your own team. The winning Team at LexLive gets (4) VIP passes and a LexLive gift cards, second place gets (4) weekend passes and LexLive gift cards , and third place gets (4) Saturday passes and LexLive gift cards. But don’t worry if you’re not into Horror Trivia: There is plenty of entertainment at LexLive!

Come into town a day early on Thursday October 21st, and join us at our Official Entertainment Partner LexLive at 301 South Broadway in Lexington (on the corner just across from the Central Bank Center). Enjoy an evening of drink specials, free prizes, HORROR TRIVIA,  and friendship.
