Window with a View is Coming: Find Out More at Scarefest 13: Resurrection

j80Window with a View

The story begins at a girl’s orphanage with the sheriff stumbling upon a mass murder scene. We then move along 20 years later where four college students goof off outside of the orphanage when one of the students gets drawn into the house and will not let him escape, trapping him inside the house. The other three after trying to get in to save him report to the authorities and an investigation begins with the force discovering strange findings about the house years ago and the disappearance of the one college student. The student’s brother is called in who is now a paranormal investigator. He along with his crew among others re-enter the house and clue by clue leads them to discovering a very odd and disturbing occurrence not allowing them to leave the house now as well. One by one they start to fall victim to the house and spirit that feasts upon their souls because of “sin” that was in the house. The story ends in a total bloodbath and freakish ending bringing back flashbacks from the original murders.

Cruel Summer

The Scarefest Film Festival Presents Cruel Summer

Cruel SummerThe Scarefest is pleased to announce that we will host a Featured Presentation of Cruel Summer from The Scarefest Film Festival, hosted by Scott Tepperman of Ghost Hunters International on Friday evening at 10PM at the LexLive Theaters.

“Shot during the height of the pandemic – and with a practically non-existent budget, CRUEL SUMMER was a true labor of love for everyone involved. It is my goal to show that even with a lack of any major funding, the only real barriers for creating an enjoyable, competent feature film are drive, determination, creativity, and tireless devotion. It’s a lot of work, but always rewarding. I truly hope everyone enjoys watching this movie as much as I enjoyed making it.”

Admission is included with any Scarefest pass and seating will be reserved for VIP ticket holders.

13 Slays Till X-Mas

The Scarefest to Host the Theatrical Premier of 13 Slays Till X-Mas

13 Slays Till Xmas

On Saturday, October 23 The Scarefest is proud to present the theatrical premier of Blood Moon Pictures’ 13 Slays Till X-Mas at 7PM in the LexLive theater as part of Scarefest 13: Resurrection. The premier will be launched with a “Black Carpet Event” on the premises of LexLive and followed by a Panel Discussion featuring many of the horror anthology film’s notables.

On December 24th, five seemingly random men are invited to a dive bar by a mysterious e-mail. They decide to pass the time by resurrecting the old tradition of telling scary stories on Christmas Eve. As each take turns spinning yarns of yuletide terror, it becomes evident, they may be harboring a dark and deadly secret.

Scheduled for the Q&A are producers, directors, special effects supervisors, actors, and actresses.

Admission to the premier and panel are included with any Scarefest day, weekend, or VIP pass and “event only” tickets will be available at Lexlive, 301 South Broadway, Lexington KY, just across the street from the Central Bank Center.

Men in Black and UFOs with Christina Kieffer & William Aymerich

Christina Kieffer and William Aymerich

Christina Kieffer and William Aymerich

The history and lore of the Men in Black and their connection with UFOs.

Christina Kieffer has well over 15 years of experience in the paranormal and loves to share her knowledge and experiences to other people in the field. She has a background researching ghosts, UFOs, and cryptids such as bigfoot. The paranormal is not just a hobby for her, it is something that is very much a part of who she is. Her goal is to uncover the unknown and to learn more about these paranormal phenomena. She uses her education and experience to help reach those goals. Ghosts, wither human or inhuman, do not frighten her what so ever and she does not stray away from dark or negative hauntings. She hopes to continue to develop herself within the field and to continue to increase her knowledge.

Outside of the paranormal field Christina has a background in biology and ecology. She is currently working on her PhD at Tennessee State University in ecology. She also has a master’s degree in ecology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Christina has also been a university professor at CSUDH and Lanier Technical College. In the future she would like to return to teaching at the university level.

In her free time Christina has a passion for the arts and takes every opportunity to draw and paint what moves her. She also has well over 15 years of experience training different marital arts forms. In the past she has trained in capoeira and taekwondo. She currently trains Brazilian jujitsu and muay thai. Additionally, she is a host on the K and A show (https://atlradiox.com/about-2/). On the show they cover topics on the paranormal, science and anything that sparks their interest. Christina has also been invited to speak on a number of different paranormal topics at different conventions like Dragon Con and Scarefest. She enjoys giving presentations because it allows her to show people different aspects of the paranormal.

Tessa DelZoppo Gallery

Tessa DelZoppo Psychic Gallery to Feature Q&A with Nick Groff & Tessa!

Tessa DelZoppo Gallery

Just Added! Nick Groff will join Tessa for her gallery and do their first ever Convention Joint Q&A!

Tessas’ goal as a medium is to validate evidentially that our loved ones ARE around—and that they are safe and at peace. Tessa’s ability is meant to bring healing and closure by connecting our world to the spirit world— and to also shed light to that burning question: “what happen’s when we die?”

Around the age of four, Tessa began seeing spirit. As a child, she became very ill which resulted in a major surgery and a stay in the hospital for several weeks. During her visit at the hospital she encountered “angelic” white lights and figures surrounding her bed at night. In her later years, Tessa realized that this critical stage in her life could have triggered her ability as a medium. Although the ability was passed down from her grandmother, to her mother, and then to her— Tessa believes that her years of illness connected her very strongly to the spirit world. In the years to follow, she would frequently see a man walk into her room every single night. Eventually as she gained the courage to ask him some questions and relayed the messages back to her family, she found that it was an uncle who died in the house prior to her being born. It was in these moments where she realized that she was able to connect with souls who are no longer here in the physical world. In her teens, Tessa decided to learn more about her ability, so that she could help those around her.

She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in education, and her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her work as a medium overpowered what she was able to do in a clinical setting— so she decided to put her career aside and follow her passion as a medium relaying messages from spirit.

She was very drawn to the paranormal world and would frequently be asked to come to locations that experienced a lot of activity— to read the location and find out who or what was around. Tessa’s role as a medium began to take many different avenues— from private readings, to paranormal work, as well as criminal investigations involving missing persons and homicides.

Tessa’s career took off as she began reading people nationally and internationally around the world. From podcasts, to local radio stations, Tessa began to connect with large audiences. Due to her background in the entertainment world as a dancer and an aerialist, she was always drawn to the stage. She knew for a very long time she wanted to be able to create a venue where people can witness spirit communication first hand, which is when she decided to take the stage. Tessa began reading large live audiences in different venues— eventually leading to her live casino show, “A Glimpse”, which began to tour in 2020. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Tessa transformed her live show into a podcast called “A Night with a Medium”. She delivered messages virtually to her audience, as well as interviewed and read many celebrity faces in the entertainment world— actors from HBO’s famous series “The Sopranos”, TV personalities such as Bridget Marquardt, comedians, Disney animators, Cirque du Soleil performers, Broadway faces, and paranormal TV personalities. Tessa’s career continues to grow, and her continued passion for her ability as a medium continuously allows her reach more and more people throughout the world.

UPDATE: Tickets for Tessa’s Gallery on ON SALE NOW. It will be held FRIDAY at 8PM at LexLive.
